Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 25, 2026

The short version. We aim to collect the information reasonably necessary to take your order, deliver your parts, support you, keep your account secure, and protect our website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The sections below explain what we collect and, plainly, why.

California Notice at Collection. We collect the categories of personal information described below to create and manage accounts, process and deliver orders, calculate tax and shipping, provide support, send transactional and (where permitted) marketing communications, remember preferences and vehicle selections, improve the Site, and protect it from fraud, bots, abuse, and security threats.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide our services, secure accounts, process orders, prevent fraud, and comply with law, not for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit.

We retain each category of personal information for the period or retention criteria described in Section 6, or as otherwise required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and operational purposes.

1. Who We Are

RS ASSOCIATES, LLC, doing business as Real Street Performance ("we," "us," or "our"), operates realstreetperformance.com (the "Site"). Our principal place of business is 120 Maritime Dr, Sanford, FL 32771, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you browse, create an account, or place an order with us. It does not cover the independent practices of third parties (such as payment providers, carriers, or marketplaces) that handle your information under their own privacy policies.

2. What We Collect and Why

We keep this simple: every type of information we collect is tied to a clear reason.

Information you give us

  • To create your account: your name, email, phone number, and a password, so you can log in, track orders, and save your vehicle and favorites.
  • To process your order: your billing and shipping address and order details, so we can charge the correct amount, calculate tax and shipping, and get your parts to you. Card, payment-wallet, and financing details are entered with and handled by our payment providers, and we do not store full payment card numbers in our systems.
  • To help you: the name, email, phone number, order-related information, message content, and chat/session information you provide when you contact us by email, phone, text message, WhatsApp, live chat, or other support channels, so we can answer your question, provide customer support, maintain support records, and resolve disputes.
  • To send updates you ask for: your email and preferences when you subscribe or request notifications, so we can send order updates, back-in-stock alerts, abandoned-cart reminders, newsletters, product updates, or promotional emails where you have signed up, checked the applicable box, or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • To share a cart: the recipient's email address when you choose to share a cart, used only to send the cart you chose to share.

Information collected automatically

  • To protect the Site from bots, fraud, and abuse: our systems automatically review technical signals from incoming traffic, such as general network and device information and browsing patterns. We use this to tell real customers apart from malicious automated traffic and keep the Site fast and available. We use these signals for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and Site reliability, not for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral profiling.
  • To make the Site work and keep it secure: essential cookies and local storage that keep you logged in, remember your cart, save your vehicle selection, and run the security and bot-protection checks that protect our forms and checkout. The Site doesn't work properly without these.
  • To find your parts: your vehicle year, make, and model, so we can show products that actually fit.

What we don't do: We do not use advertising cookies, ad-network pixels, Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking for advertising purposes on this Site, and we do not sell your information or share it for targeted advertising. We use cookies, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies for essential, security, checkout, payment, functional, fraud-prevention, live chat and messaging, and first-party performance and diagnostics purposes. Our bot-protection technologies are used only to protect our forms and checkout from automated abuse, and they are security tools, not advertising tools.

3. Keeping Records for Tax and Audits

When you place an order, we keep your order and billing records for as long as the law requires, generally up to seven years, so we can comply with tax, accounting, and audit obligations. We protect this information and use it only for those purposes.

4. Who We Share Information With

We disclose personal information to the following categories of service providers, processors, and business partners as needed to operate our business:

  • Payment, wallet, checkout, and financing providers: for checkout, payment processing, financing, wallet payments, transaction processing, transaction analytics, fraud prevention, fraud review, chargeback prevention, and related checkout services. We do not store full payment card numbers in our systems.
  • Shipping, freight, and logistics providers: for shipping quotes, freight coordination, delivery, tracking, and related support.
  • Tax calculation and compliance providers: to calculate the correct sales tax for your delivery address and for related tax compliance.
  • Security and bot-protection providers: to tell real customers apart from automated attacks and keep checkout and the Site secure. These technologies are used only for security, not advertising.
  • Email service providers: for transactional and (where permitted) marketing email.
  • Live chat, messaging, and customer-support providers: to provide customer support when you contact us by live chat, text message, WhatsApp, email, phone, or other support channels.
  • Performance, diagnostics, and site-improvement providers: for first-party performance measurement, error reporting, troubleshooting, and Site improvement.
  • Order management and business operations providers: for customer records, orders, fulfillment, and accounting.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, database, backup, and monitoring providers: for hosting the Site, storing data, maintaining backups, logging, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and availability.
  • Marketplace partners: where you buy from us through a marketplace or where marketplace fulfillment requires transaction processing.
  • Legal, compliance, and professional advisors: where needed for legal compliance, audits, claims, disputes, accounting, insurance, or business operations.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, our customers, or Site security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

Some providers, such as payment, wallet, financing, shipping, freight, logistics, and marketplace providers, may process personal information as independent controllers or businesses under their own privacy policies for certain purposes, in addition to acting as our service providers.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Legal bases. Where GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss, or similar data-protection laws apply, we process personal information on these bases: performance of a contract (accounts, orders, support); legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Site, and preventing fraud and abuse); consent (marketing and, where required, non-essential technologies, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, audit). We do not use solely automated processing to make decisions by us that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage only for the following purposes:

  • Essential: to keep you logged in, run your cart and checkout, and process payments.
  • Essential checkout and payment technologies: payment, wallet, checkout, and financing providers may use cookies, scripts, device signals, transaction data, and similar technologies as needed to provide checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, fraud review, security, chargeback prevention, transaction analytics, and related services.
  • Functional: to remember your preferences and vehicle selection.
  • Security and bot protection: to run bot-protection checks that protect our forms and checkout. These technologies may process technical signals such as IP address, user-agent, browser and device characteristics, interaction signals, and site/origin information to help detect bots, fraud, abuse, and automated attacks. We use them for security and fraud prevention, not advertising.
  • Live chat and messaging: our live-chat and customer-support technologies may load on pages where chat or messaging support is available. These tools may use cookies, local storage, scripts, device/browser information, approximate location derived from technical information, and chat/session information to display and operate the widget, maintain conversation history, prevent abuse, and support customer service. If you start a chat or message us, the information you provide is handled as described in Section 2 and by the applicable provider under its own privacy policy.
  • First-party performance and diagnostics: to understand Site performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the shopping experience.

We do not use advertising cookies, ad-network pixels, Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking for advertising purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect how the Site works.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Site and our services, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations, resolve disputes, investigate fraud or abuse, maintain security, and support our operations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it is used, and legal or operational requirements. In general:

  • Account data: retained while your account is active or as needed to provide account-related services; deleted, deactivated, or otherwise handled in response to your request, subject to records we must keep by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • Order and tax records: retained for up to 7 years, or longer if required for tax, accounting, audit, legal, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
  • Marketing preferences and suppression records: retained as needed to manage your communication preferences and honor opt-out or unsubscribe requests.
  • Support, text message, WhatsApp, and live chat records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide customer support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, investigate fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We may delete or anonymize these records when they are no longer needed or when required by applicable law.
  • Cart, cart-share, checkout, payment, and fraud-review data: retained as needed to provide cart, checkout, cart-sharing, payment, fraud-prevention, fraud-review, chargeback-prevention, support, and order-related functionality, unless the information becomes part of an order, support record, fraud/security record, payment-provider record, or legal/business record.
  • Vehicle selections and preferences: retained as needed to provide fitment, garage, preference, account, and Site functionality, unless you change or remove them, your account is deleted, or we no longer need them.
  • Session, cookie, and local storage data: retained as needed to keep the Site working, maintain login/session security, remember your cart and preferences, prevent fraud or abuse, and troubleshoot Site issues. Some browser-based data may be controlled or deleted through your browser settings.
  • Traffic, security, performance, and error logs: retained as needed to maintain Site security and reliability, investigate security incidents, detect fraud or abuse, troubleshoot errors, analyze performance, support legal claims, and operate the Site.
  • Email queue, delivery, and suppression records: retained as needed to send transactional and marketing emails, troubleshoot delivery issues, maintain suppression lists, honor opt-out requests, and comply with email, legal, and operational requirements.
  • Privacy request records: retained as needed to verify, document, and comply with privacy-law obligations and to maintain a record of our response.

Third-party providers may retain information they process under their own privacy policies, legal obligations, and retention practices, especially where they act as independent controllers or businesses (for example, payment providers, shipping carriers, and marketplaces).
